Bingo and Raffles FAQs

Filing online

Q1. Why should I e-file?

A1. E-filing has many benefits.

  • Forms that are e-filed are immediately received by our office. This can significantly reduce the time it takes for you to submit your form. It also reduces the amount of time that it takes for our office to process your form, and to communicate with you about your filing and any needed corrections.
  • Fewer potential mistakes. Our system will catch some errors before you submit your filing.
  • The online system will only ask you to enter information that is relevant to your situation, removing some of the guesswork of filling out a form.
  • Some basic information will be carried over to your next online filing, reducing the amount of data entry needed and making it faster and easier for you.
  • Filing online may save you money. See the fee schedule for fee information.

Q2. How do I e-file?

A2. To apply for a new bingo-raffle license, go to the bingo-raffle registration page. For help, see the online filing instructions (PDF) or the tutorial.

If your organization already has a license, log in to your account, then click on the form that you want to file at the bottom of the page. Some forms may also appear in the menu on the left-hand side of the page.

For more help, call the Bingo & Raffles program at 303-869-4910, or email us at licensing@coloradosos.gov.

Q3. How do I create an account?

A3. To create an account:

  1. Go to the Bingo-Raffle log in page.
  2. Click on "Forgot password?"
  3. Enter your organization’s Master ID and email address, and click on "Reset Password."
  4. We will send a temporary password to this email address within about 20 minutes. This password is only good for 4 hours after receipt.
  5. Once you receive the temporary password, go back to the log in page and log in with your Master ID and the temporary password.
  6. The system will then ask you to create a new password.  Once this is done, your account will be created and you will have access to your organization’s files.

Q4. I e-filed a form, but some of the information was wrong or needs to be changed. How do I edit my filing?

A4. Once a filing has been submitted, it can't be edited online. Contact our office if you need to make changes to a form that has already been submitted or accepted. Call the Bingo & Raffles program at 303-869-4910 or email us at licensing@coloradosos.gov.

Q5. Can I e-file and then mail in any additional forms or documentation needed?

A5. No. When you e-file, you must upload additional forms or documentation.

Q6. I have more questions or need help.
