“Voters need accurate election information,” said Secretary Griswold. “VayaVotarColorado.gov helps eligible Coloradans who speak Spanish register to vote and access trustworthy and accurate election information.”
Eligible Coloradans can register to vote, update their voter registration, and find other crucial information at VayaVotarColorado.gov in Spanish.
Eligible Spanish-speaking Coloradans may also use VayaVotarColorado.gov to:
- Register to vote or update their voter registration
- Find their local County Clerk
- Find their closest drop box or voting center
- Sign up to track their ballot using BallotTrax
- Learn about Colorado’s secure election processes
- Find accurate election information
VayaVotarColorado.gov is the most up-to-date source for election information for Colorado voters. With the .gov domain, which only government agencies may use, voters can have confidence that information is coming directly from the Secretary of State’s Office and can be trusted.
Beginning October 11, 2024, Colorado voters can also call the Secretary of State’s Language Assistance Hotline for assistance with translating their ballot. The hotline will enable individuals to receive real time translation of their ballot content from a live interpreter in Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Taiwanese, Chinese and many other additional languages.
In accordance with Colorado statute, interpretation services may only be provided for the ballot content, and not on Bluebook content or to describe the measures. This includes providing translation of instructions on completing the ballot, such as:
- how to fill in ovals or make corrections,
- how to properly put the ballot in the ballot envelope and sign
- how to return the ballot by mail, drop box, or Voter Service and Polling Center
To access the hotline, voters may call their County Clerk, visit a voting center and speak to an election judge or county staff, or call the Secretary of State’s Office directly at 303-860-6970 and a staff member at the Department will connect them to an interpreter for assistance with translating the content of the ballot.
