Ballots Returned: Oct. 28, 2019
Denver, October 28, 2019 – 394,646 ballots have been returned to county clerks for the coordinated election on Nov. 5.

In addition, today is the last day to register to vote in order to receive a ballot in the mail for this year's election. After today, eligible Coloradans can still register to vote and vote in-person until and on Election Day. Today is also the last recommended day to mail your ballot in. After today, the Secretary of State recommends voters drop ballots off at drop-off locations. Coloradans can register to vote, verify their registration, check the status of their ballot and find a drop-off location at govotecolorado.com.
Because of inclement weather there are a few important closures today:
- El Paso County:
- Fort Carson VSPC and Fort Carson office closed today.
- Denver:
- The mobile vote center is closed today.
- All drive-through drop-off locations outside VSPCs are closed today.
- Las Animas County:
- Clerk and Recorder's Office including the Voter Service Polling Center (VSPC) closed after 12:00 p.m. today. The 24-hour drop box remains open.
- Custer County:
- The VSPC located inside the Courthouse is closed today because the Courthouse is closed.
