Secretary of State Jena Griswold Statement on SB19-235, Automatic Voter Registration

Denver, April 5, 2019 -- Today, The Colorado Legislature introduced SB19-235, Automatic Voter Registration. This bill is part of Secretary of State Griswold’s policy agenda, which she presented to the House Committee on State, Veterans, and Military Affairs on January 17, 2019. The following statement on this legislation can be attributed to Secretary Griswold:

“This bill to expand automatic voter registration will increase eligible citizens’ access to registering to vote, and makes sure our government is truly of the people and by the people. Together, we can create a democracy that all Coloradans’ can believe in.”
