Still time to vote in Colorado; Jeffco turnout increases
DENVER, Nov. 3, 2015, 4:44 PM - The voter turnout in Jefferson County, where the school district is involved in a controversial recall election, increased to 40 percent as of 3:30 p.m., according to the latest figures from the Colorado Secretary of State's election division.
The turnout in Jefferson County as of 7 a.m. this morning was 26.6 percent.The turnout statewide as of 3:30 p.m. was 29.8 percent. It was 26.1 percent as of 7 a.m.
The Jefferson County school district includes all of Jefferson County and a portion of Broomfield County.
Voters have until 7 p.m. to hand deliver their ballots or vote in person in their county.
