Statement from Wayne Williams upon being sworn in as Colorado Secretary of State
Denver, January 13, 2015 - Wayne Williams was sworn in as Colorado’s 38th Secretary of State this morning during a ceremony at the state capitol. Williams, the former El Paso County Clerk and Recorder, offered the following statement upon taking office.
"I’m honored to serve the people of Colorado as their Secretary of State and will work hard to ensure that Colorado continues to have the fairest, most honest, and most open elections. I look forward to working together with leaders in the business and non-profit communities to ensure that the Secretary of State’s office meets the needs of Coloradans and continues our role as a national leader."
