Secretary of State's Office Relocates to 1700 Broadway

Denver, May 2, 2005 - Starting June 21 the Secretary of State's new address will be 1700 Broadway, Denver, CO 80290. The office will be closed Monday, June 20 due to the office move.

During 2004, the office experienced a computer failure due to "Zinc Whiskers" that required the office to build a new data center. In addition to building a new data center, the Secretary of State's lease at 1560 Broadway was ending in another year, and it made good business sense to look at new properties.

"We have been able to redesign our office space so that it is actually less square footage and our staff are on two adjacent floors," Secretary of State Donetta Davidson said. "The new lease at 1700 Broadway will save the citizens of the State of Colorado $100,000.00 per year in rent," Davidson added.

In addition, the divisions of the Secretary of State's office will have new suite numbers. Please use the suite numbers listed below when sending correspondence to the Secretary of State's office.
