Next Blue Ribbon Election Panel Meeting Set
Denver, January 26, 2005 - Secretary of State Donetta Davidson plans to meet with the Blue Ribbon Election Panel on Friday, January 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will be located at 1625 Broadway, Suite 820. This is an open meeting and the press is invited to attend.
The Panel will review and conduct a final discussion on legislative changes regarding:
- Election Calendars
- Voter Registration Drives; and
- Provisional Ballots and Emergency Registration

This is a public meeting and the public attendance is welcome. However, this will be a working meeting and public comment will only be accepted at the conclusion of the meeting, if time permits. Please submit any written comment prior to the meeting and all comments will be provided to the Panel members. Secretary of State Donetta Davidson created the Blue Ribbon Election Panel to examine current legislation, election rules, and procedures. The Panel will meet weekly and discuss ways that current laws and rules could be changed to improve elections in Colorado. The Panel aims to finalize projects in February in order to provide legislative suggestions for the 2005 Legislative Session.
