Purchasing a Colorado State Lobbying I.D. Badge is strictly voluntary. However, purchasing a badge is encouraged; it is the easiest way to identify a registered lobbyist when you are visiting or working at the capitol or with state elected officials, legislators, or public officials. Identification badges can be obtained from various office supply stores.

Protocol at the Capitol requires a blue name tag (1" x 3 ") with white lettering. See sample below.
