Public policy - law student
Tasks include:
- Researching state and federal law to help develop comprehensive memorandum, white papers, and other documents.
- Performing process mapping and analysis to document existing processes and to identify and implement process efficiencies.
- Research to support legislative initiatives.
- Participation in internal policy meetings.
- Collecting and reviewing documents for litigation discovery.
- Monitoring relevant state and federal laws and current events to identify, outline, and recommend best practices for the Elections Division and Business and Licensing Division.
Eligibility requirements:
- Must have completed first year of law school.
- Strong writing and editorial capabilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Public policy - Master's student
Tasks include:
- Researching and conducting data and policy analysis to draft memorandum and white papers to support policy decisions.
- Performing process mapping and analysis to document existing processes and to identify and implement process efficiencies.
- Participation in internal policy meetings.
- Researching internal legislative initiatives.
- Monitoring relevant state and federal laws and current events to identify, outline, and recommend best practices for the Elections Division and Business and Licensing Division.
Eligibility requirements:
- Must be a master’s program student, either 1st or 2nd year.
- Strong writing and editorial capabilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
