A lot drawing was held at the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office on April 24, 2024 to determine the ballot order for candidates for the US House – District 4 Vacancy Election. Colorado law (1-5-404(3), C.R.S.) requires that the arrangement of names of candidates appearing on ballots for congressional vacancy elections must be in an order determined by lot. The lot drawing was conducted by Department of State staff and witnessed by candidates and campaign representatives.
