An amendment to the Colorado constitution concerning the right to school choice, and, in connection therewith, creating a right for parents and guardians to direct per pupil funding to schooling of their choice which includes public and private schooling; home schooling; and open enrollment.

The ballot title and submission clause as designated and fixed by the Board is as follows:

Shall there be an amendment to the Colorado constitution concerning the right to school choice, and, in connection therewith, creating a right for parents and guardians to direct per pupil funding to schooling of their choice which includes public and private schooling; home schooling; and open enrollment?

Single subject approved; staff draft amended; titles set.
The Board determined that the proposed initiative requires the addition of language to the Colorado Constitution; a 55% vote is required to pass.
