2009-2010

The title as designated and fixed by the Board is as follows:

An amendment to the Colorado constitution concerning the alteration of the composition of the general assembly, and, in connection therewith, allowing the number of members of each house of the general assembly to be specified by law but requiring that at least half of the members of each house be elected from single-seat districts and no more than half of the  members of each house be elected from at-large districts, specifying that less than forty-five percent of the members of either house shall be affiliated with a political party, requiring that each of the two most popular political parties in the state have a significantly greater number of voters in one half of the single-seat districts of each house as may be achieved, requiring each atlarge district of each house to possess an equal number of voters affiliated with the two most popular political parties in the state as may be achieved, specifying the geographical composition of general assembly districts, encouraging half of the members of the senate elected in 2010 to resign, and requiring the reapportionment of all general assembly districts commencing with the 2012 election.
