Do I have to file ?
Filing is only required if a candidate or incumbent has something to report; if there is nothing to report, the filing is voluntary but encouraged.
How do I file?
This report is now required to be filed electronically through TRACER (except for municipal jurisdictions), the Secretary of State’s Campaign Finance website. The Report is available under the online forms section.
Active candidates may file this in their candidate workspace by clicking on the File Reports tab after logging into TRACER.
This form is a public document. Law enforcement offices (Attorney General, District Attorney, Judge, etc.) should not list their personal contact information such as home address, phone or email. These offices may provide alternative contact information (P.O. Box, business address and phone number, or general email address).
