*Any party or committee participating in the November 2, 2021, Biennial School Election must file disclosure reports according to the 2021 Biennial School Election schedule. You must notify Campaign Finance Support to update your filing schedule immediately upon participation in the Biennial School Election.

Small-Scale Issue Committees (SSIC) are not required to file disclosure reports until they exceed $5,000 in activity. After filing an initial disclosure report and converting to an Issue Committee, SSICs are subject to the disclosure requirements of 1-45-108(2), C.R.S.

Supplemental reports

The following types of supplemental reports may be required dependent on activity:

Electioneering Communication, (if the communication mentions school board candi-dates) time period starts 60 days (September 3, 2021) before the Biennial School Election.
24 Hour Notice of Major Contributor (MC) report period starts 30 days before the Biennial School Election and concludes the day before the election. Report is due within 24 hours of receiving a Major Contribution. Applies to candidate committees whose office appears on the Biennial School Board Election ballot. It also applies to Issue Committees and Political Parties even if they are not participating in the election.
48 Hour Notice of Independent Expenditure (IE) report period starts 30 days before the election and concludes the day before the election. Report is due within 48 hours of spending. Only applies to IECs.

January 15, 2021 2020 Annual report	January 1, 2020 - December 31, 2020 Annual reports only apply in specific instances for some candidate committees. Reporting periods for an annual report differ from other periods.
The January 15th report does not apply to committees that last filed on December 3, 2020. Their next report is due on April 15, 2021.
April 15, 2021 2021 1st Quarter report	December 1, 2020 - March 31, 2021 or January 1, 2021 - March 31, 2021
July 15, 2021 2021 2nd Quarter report	April 1, 2021 - June 30, 2021
September 3, 2021	Starts the 60 day period before the Biennial School Board Election for Biennial School Electioneering Communication and concludes on November 1, 2021
October 3, 2021	Starts the 30 day period before the Biennial School Board Election for 24 Hour MC rpts. & 48 Hour IE rpts. and concludes on November 1, 2021.
October 15, 2021 2021 3rd Quarter report	July 1, 2021 - September 30, 2021
November 2, 2021	Coordinated / Biennial School Board Election
