New enhancements aimed at more efficient filings

Roll out of Business Efficiency Suite updates continue

Denver, Colorado - Beginning May 16, business filers and registered agents will begin seeing enhancements and updates to their filings focused on streamlining and clarifying customer interaction. Customers will soon experience:

  • Text boxes for "Nonprofit Articles Dissolution Clause" removing the need for filing attachments
  • Additional fee disclosure prior to the payment screen
  • More payment confirmation details and the option to email receipts
  • Improved usability of the "File a Document" and "Record Confirmation" pages
  • Enhanced the delayed effective date feature
  • Removal of the registered agent non-domestic mailing address elements
  • Added features to Articles of Amendment
  • Simplification of deleting an address

These enhancements are the latest roll out of Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler’s Business Efficiency Suite, which is a three-year update to the state’s business registry and filing system.

More enhancements are in the works that will allow customers to associate multiple business records under one account, file multiple documents at once and pay for multiple filings. This user account will populate new filings and renewals with existing business filing information, saving data entry time.
