Description of Subjects/Issues |
The Colorado Board of Chiropractic Examiners will hold a Rulemaking Hearing on January 25, 2024, at 9:00 A.M. to receive testimony before the Board determines whether to approve proposed revisions to Rule 1.8 - ELECTROTHERAPY AUTHORITY. The purpose of the proposed revisions are to correct an inconsistency between the statute, specifically section 12-215-108, C.R.S., which requires a chiropractic applicant to successfully complete a 120-hour or more course to practice electrotherapy and does allow for an examination-only option. |
Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of this Permanent Rulemaking Hearing was to allow stakeholders a final opportunity to testify before the Board determined whether to adopt proposed revisions to Rule 1.8 - ELECTROTHERAPY AUTHORITY on a permanent basis. The purpose of the proposed revisions are to correct an inconsistency between the statute, specifically section 12-215-108, C.R.S., which requires a chiropractic applicant to successfully complete a 120-hour or more course to practice electrotherapy and does allow for an examination-only option. |
