Rules of general applicability; licensing and financial interest rules including changes required by SB16-040, rules for licensed premises; retail marijuana stores, cultivators, and product sales, manufacturing, and safety including edibles change pursuant to HB16-1427 and HB16-1436; changes due to the Retail Marijuana Sunset Bill, HB16-1261; rules for retail marijuana testing facilities and testing requirements; rules regarding the transportation and storage of retail marijuana including those required by HB16-1211, business records and reporting, administrative process; rules regarding Retail Marijuana Establishment Operators pursuant to HB12-1261, and any other rules necessary to implement the Retail Code or Article XVIII, Section 16 of the Colorado Constitution. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose of these rules is to regulate the licensing and assessment of qualification for retail marijuana establishments, employees, and other associated persons, as well as the cultivation, manufacture, transport, testing, sale and related activities of Retail Marijuana in the State of Colorado. Additionally, each individual rule contained herein includes a statement of basis and purpose. |
