| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The purpose for the added language to Rule 1 is to implement the requirement of HB11-1100 that the Board adopt a rule in response to those new statutory provisions. The purpose for the revisions to Rule 2.A. and 2.B., and Rule 3.4 and Rule 3.5. is to allow the Board the ability to accept additional education, training, and experience towards licensure that is appropriate to protect the public. These will allow more qualified candidates to seek licensure in the state of Colorado. |
| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The purpose for the added language to Rule 1 is to implement the requirement of HB11-1100 that the Board adopt a rule in response to those new statutory provisions. The purpose for the revisions to Rule 2.A. and 2.B., and Rule 3.4 and Rule 3.5. is to allow the Board the ability to accept additional education, training, and experience towards licensure that is appropriate to protect the public. These proposed revisions also allow an opportunity for more qualified candidates to seek licensure in the state of Colorado.
The Board is also using this opportunity to renumber all its rules, so they are easier to identify and follow, and to provide consistency in the use of commas and space.
The Board believes the proposed revisions to the existing rules are fair, impartial and non-discriminatory. |
