| Purpose/Objective of Rule |
The amendment changes the deadline for applications for prospective schools from October 1 to September 1. It also requires that documents submitted by applicants during the application process be provided to the school district and the district accountability committee in which the proposed school is to be located. |

Permanent rule-making is underway, with hearing set for 8/2/07. Proposed permanent rules are currently identical to emergency rules. |
